Indiana Jones Rule the Charts

It will probably come as no surprise to hear that the latest film in the Mr Jones series, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull entered the charts at number one in the US home video charts; it was the other favourite Iron Man, which had to settle for second best for the top slot.

This is the fourth film in the Indian Jones series to hit the screens and now that it is out as a DVD rental there should be no stopping it. However Iron Man is still hanging around, having reached number two in the charts whilst only having been out on release for three weeks.

As a DVD rental the Iron Man has shown some resilience with DVD rentals only losing around nineteen per cent since its release. It should have been easy to hold off the whip cracking Indie as he beats off the commies in this film.

How long Indiana Jones will be able to stay on top in DVD rentals and sales is going to be down to what comes next, and it looks like its going to be a biggy, with the Incredible Hulk busting out and looking to hit the top of all charts next week, especially as there have been over two million sales of the film already.
