On the other hand in Chamonix Haute Savoie the luxury chalet is always fine. Even dining in my favorite restaurant, Deli, scoffing sicilian sauce is a delight. Chamonix is a big enough village to make sure that there is plenty for the tourist to do. With a cinema and a weekly market with fresh local produce, Chamonix offers a mix of climbing, alpine charm and shopping which not many French ski resorts can beat.
